Studio Floris Wubben was founded in 2009 and is located in Haarlem, the Netherlands. The studio is renowned for its unique products that stand at the intersection of functional art and sculptural design.

Floris Wubben designed a press that enables him to make unique ceramic pieces in a serial manner. Pressing the clay with a profile reveals the material properties of the material during the extrusion process. Using various self-designed profiles and refining the extrusion process generates a diversity of forms and designs that have been successfully deployed by the studio up to this day. A series of vases in various shapes, colours and sizes announced the studio’s arrival on the international design scene.
